EUROSTAT: Second quarter of 2016 compared with second quarter of 2015 - House prices up by 2.9% in the euro area, up by 4.0% in the EU

House prices, as measured by the House Price Index, rose by 2.9% in the euro area and by 4.0% in the EU in the second quarter of 2016 compared with the same quarter of the previous year. Compared with the first quarter of 2016, house prices rose by 1.4% in the euro area and by 1.6% in the EU in the second quarter of 2016. A full EUROSTAT press release is available online.
